The American Family Association (AFA) is taking action against P&G, who produces the the CBS daytime soap, As the World Turns. The show currently features a storyline that centers around a gay couple. Well, what set the AFA off was what they refered to as “open-mouthed, homosexual kissing,” and acts that promote the “homosexual agenda.” They are rounding up supporters of middle-class America to spread the word that gay people kissing is wrong and should not be seen by anyone. A pointless fight, I say because what they’re doing isn’t wrong. What the AFA should be bitching about is sex and violence on TV and movies like every other right-wing group. Leave the gays alone.
